Helping you to achieve a greater finish to your garments easier
Tailors Press was born from curiosity.
I’ve always been intrigued with sewing tools that make work easier & more efficient.
Throughout my career as a Theatrical tailor, working in Film, TV & Theatre.
I would constantly be looking at the tools people had made themselves or found to use in their studios. Debating their merits and discussing improvements that could be made to their design.
Swapping my soft tape measure for a metal measure, I decided to start Tailors Press.
I wanted to share these ideas & designs that had built up in my head over the years. To make these items more accessible to everyone.
Pressing is an integral part of any garment construction. It really enhances the final look of any piece, but sometimes working on a 3d garment with a flat ironing board just doesn’t work. Creating these high-quality forms, I hope to help anyone, no matter their skill level. Whether you’re a weekend hobbyist or professional maker to achieve more in your own sewing journey.

Reviews
“With a slick aesthetic & superb quality materials, the sleeve board is by far one of the best I’ve seen or used.
From the zippable covers to the comfortable height of the board, function has been thoroughly considered.
The wood has a beautifully smooth finish & with such a solid feel I know,
I have a piece of equipment built to last.”

“A beautifully crafted chalk sharpening box! I had been looking for one for years but couldn’t find anything good. I am very happy with this one, the size is perfect, the wood is very soft to the touch and the fact that it closes is very practical!
I also love the personalisation option.
10/10 will recommend!”
