Perfect for hobbyist stitchers, our Palm Clapper is a more compact & lighter weight version of our regular clapper.
The tapered ergonomic shaping lets this clapper sits very comfortably in your hands, allowing you to work with out all the heavy lifting of our larger pressing boards.
The shorter length is fantastic too if you want to press more on a ham or curve.
You can also use it on its side to press over zips, allowing the teeth to remain undamaged in the central recess.

Handmade from steamed beech and limited edition exotic hard wood centre (choice of hardwoods will change with availability).

Not sure what a clapper is?
A clapper is used to really flatten your seams and get that crisp finish to all your garments, without the damage a hot iron can cause.
Simply apply some steam heat to your seam and place the clapper on top to absorb the moisture and allow the fabric to cool in position.
